Sony is continuing to push the PlayStation Vita big time, especially its Remote Play feature, which allows you to connect to your PlayStation 3 console and take console gaming on the go with you — provided you’ve got access, of course.
The company has announced that its latest Remote Play update has gone live, allowing users to download an update for both God of War HD Collection and Ico/Shadow of the Colossus that will allow you to play the games on your PlayStation Vita system. You’ll need the games on the PlayStation 3 to access them, but that’s a small price to pay for accessibility, yes?
“Both collections include customizable control options, so you can choose to have the R2 and L2 buttons from your PS3 mapped to PS Vita’s rear touchpad,” stated a Sony rep.
The updates are live now, so if you want to download them and check them out, we highly advise doing so. The games look good on the Vita screen, and we could very well see more Remote Play-supported games to come.
