The only way to get Eternity’s Gate in Starfield is to side with The Hunter and defeat The Emissary during the main questline, specifically as part of “Revelation,” after siding with the former in “Unearthed.”

Once you beat The Emissary, do not forget to loot his body. After all, you just took down a Starborn, so surely he has some epic loot to score. And he does! You’ll find Eternity’s Gate on his corpse; it’s a unique variant of the Va’ruun Inflictor with three boons and pre-installed weapon modifications, too!

As one of the stronger particle beam weapons in Starfield, the Va’ruun Inflictor is already a viable weapon to push you into the endgame. But this unique variant features not one but three rare affixes, including Anti-Personnel, which deals additional damage to human enemies—the most common foe in the game.

  • Weapon Type: Particle Beam Rifle
  • Damage Type: Phys/Energy
  • Damage:
    • Physical: 17
    • Energy: 50
  • Ammunition Type: Heavy Particle Fuse
  • Magazine Size: 20
  • Fire Rate: 25
  • Range: 60
  • Accuracy: 81.6%
  • Mass: 5.10
  • Value: 11249
  • Mod Slot 1: Long Barrel
  • Mod Slot 2: Recon Laser Sight
  • Mod Slot 3: Short Scope
  • Mod Slot 4: Tactical Magazine
  • Rare Effect: Handloading – Volatile rounds designed to pack a punch, but they aren’t as stable and can fail on occasion.
  • Legendary Effects:
    • Skip Shot – Every fourth shot fires two projectiles.
    • Anti-Personnel – +10% additional damage to human enemies.
  • Item ID: 329ABB

If futuristic weaponry is your bag, then this particle beam weapon from what amounts to a literal god is nothing but a boon. The only major downside to consider is its weak fire rate. But hey, so long as you don’t miss a shot, you’ll be fine!
