Playing Halo 3 early won’t get you banned

Microsoft go easy on fans

Microsoft have put out a statement assuring those who managed to grab themselves an early copy of Halo 3 from UK catalogue company Argos or of course, Ebay that they won’t be receiving Xbox Live bans.

The game was accidentally sold by Argos a week before it was due for release.

Speculation across the forums was rife as to whether those who played the game early would receive Xbox Live bans, especially after those who played an early build were banned for nearly 8000 years.

Microsoft also recently revealed that they wouldn’t be penalizing Argos.
