During the outbreak of Battle Royale games, such as H1Z1, PUBG, Fortnite, Call of Duty Warzone, and Apex Legends, CSGO did not have a Battle Royale mode within the game. Valve Software, naturally, wanted to get in on the Battle Royale hype train and compete for the affection of BR enthusiasts. This led to Danger Zone getting released at the very end of the year 2018. However, with the release of CS2, Danger Zone (DZ) is gone. When will Danger Zone return, if at all?
When Will Danger Zone (DZ) Become Available Again in CS2?
At the time of publishing this article, Valve has not made any statements regarding the return of Danger Zone to CS2. Due to this situation, estimating when Danger Zone will become available in CS2 as a playable game mode is difficult.
Why Was Danger Zone (DZ) Removed from CS2?
No official answer or statement from Valve Software was made, which would clarify why Danger Zone (DZ) got removed from CS2. However, all events around the release of CS2 point to only one plausible answer: It was not ready in time. It took us a while before we got the Community Server option. The workshop is still unavailable, and we are also waiting for War Games to return—quite a long list of features.
All in all, patience is advised, and we will be glad to update this article as soon as any development happens with the Danger Zone (DZ) situation in CS2. It has not been confirmed to come to CS2, but we remain hopeful.
