How to Evolve Nuzleaf in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Evolving Nuzleaf into Shiftry is easier than ever in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Nuzleaf won’t evolve just by leveling up, but that’s no cause for concern, thanks to some convenient Paldean stores. Here’s how to evolve Nuzleaf in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.

How to Evolve Nuzleaf into Shiftry in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet 

Nuzleaf evolves into Shiftry when exposed to a Leaf Stone. To use a Leaf Stone on Nuzleaf, you’ll have to make your way over to the Other Items pocket in your bag, scroll to the Leaf Stone, and select it. Once you do, you can use it on any Nuzleaf in your party. 

Where to Find Leaf Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet 

You may already have some Leaf Stones in your bag. They can be found across Paldea as hidden items, although they’re understandably rare. But there are a few places to easily pick up as many Leaf Stones as you need: the Delibird Presents stores. Once you’ve collected your third Gym Badge, all Delibird Presents stores will stock Leaf Stones for 3,000 Pokédollars per stone.

There is a Delibird Presents store in Cascarrafa and Levincia, and there are three stores in Mesagoza.

While you’re there, you can pick up as many Leaf Stones as you need for other Pokémon evolutions, or other evolution items altogether, such as the Shiny Stone or Apples for Applin.
