How to Get the Swimsuit in Starfield

Stepping on the beach, do do do do dooo.

Completing missions in Starfield is a tough job. Not only do you need to contend with the harsh climates that each planet provides, but there’s also the heap of enemies that want to kill you at any given moment. All this chaos may lead to you wanting a little break, though you’ll have to dress the part first. Here’s how to get the Swimsuit in Starfield.

Where to Find a Swimsuit in Starfield

If you want to snag yourself a Swimsuit in Starfield, you’ll need to do what any normal person would. You’re going to need to steal it. Unfortunately, you can’t buy one for a few Credits since no known vendor has one. Instead, you’ll need to make your way to the resort Paradiso. This can be found on the planet of Porrima II, in the Porrima system.

Once you’re in Paradiso, head past the various shops and the main hotel until you make your way to the beach. On the beach are various little homes that are meant to be beachside hotel rooms, with glass windows on nearly all sides. Look for one that preferably doesn’t have someone inside already, and open the lockers you find next to the main door. Inside, you’ll find either Resort Wear or, more importantly, a Swimsuit. Remember that this counts as stealing, so don’t let anyone see you grab that.

What Stats Does a Swimsuit Provide in Starfield?

The Swimsuit will be equipped as either swim trunks or a bikini, depending on your character’s body type. It provides zero to any resistances (No Thermal resistance for a Swimsuit? Come on Bethesda), but does give a reduction to O2 usage on different actions like jumping and running. I suppose having just shorts or a bikini on does do wonders for letting you move freely.

Overall, the Swimsuit isn’t exactly worth getting as far as practicality goes. If you’re trying to find a Swimsuit though, you signed up for that one. If you’re looking for something more practical, check out our guide on how to get the Lodge Basement spacesuit in Starfield.
