Where is Lou Saaverdra in Starfield?

You’ll find Lou tending bar at the Sixth Circle on Cydonia, Mars. You’ll need to find him early on in the Delivering Devils mission, and you can head straight to him after speaking with Oktai Enbayar at the Trade Authority within the Cydonia underground city. Just take the elevator in Cydonia down to level P2. The Sixth Circle shouldn’t be too far of a walk from there. Lou himself will be behind the bar, waiting to ask you about the Vanguard motto.

What is the Vanguard Motto in Starfield?

The UC Vanguard Motto is “Above and Beyond.” This is the English version of Supra Et Ultra, which is the motto you learn as you are sworn into the Vanguard itself. Once you tell Lou that the answer is Above and Beyond, he will half-believe that you’re telling the truth. But that means he still has another question for you.

After the motto question, Lou wants to know how you scored as a pilot during the UC Vanguard simulation. He even asks if you earned a letter grade to throw you off. The correct answer in this situation is that the UC Vanguard doesn’t grade based on letters. When you took the simulation, you were graded based on what tier you made it to. In our case, we made it to tier 4 before getting blown up.
