Best AK74 Loadout in BattleBit Remastered

Make every shot count

BattleBit Remastered has a large variety of weapons to sink your teeth into, but one of the most dependable is the AK74. Available from Rank 0, this Assault Rifle can be tailored to fit any engagement and is versatile enough to be effective against anyone, as long you have the right attachments. So let’s look at the best build for the AK74 in BattleBit Remastered.

Optic: Red Dot

Siderail: None

Underbarrel: S E-5 Grip

Barrel: Tactical

Magazine: Quick-A

First, let’s talk about the Optic. While there are plenty of options, it is very difficult to beat the default Red Dot for its clear sight picture and minimal obstruction of screen space. However, I am a firm defender of the Magnified primary with a canted red dot. I do recommend rebinding the Switch Optic button away from the scroll wheel for more binary input. For the magnified optic I quite like the Slip, with a Canted Red Dot.

For the side rail, it is generally better to go without anything. In most matches, lights and lasers just give your position away. The only exception to this is night matches, where lasers can be used to signal things to your teammates.

For the Underbarrel I chose the S E-5 Grip. While it does not have the best recoil reduction, it is easily controllable with few drawbacks. The only other contender is the Vertical Grip, which has less horizontal recoil control, leading me to favor the S E-5 Grip.

For the barrel, I chose the Tactical entirely because of its ability to control the vertical recoil of the weapon. If you wish, you could try running a suppressor for undetected fire, or the Heavy for more damage per shot. However, that recoil reduction is hard to beat.
