Completing the research is necessary to move on to the next Team Rocket research so, whilst there is no time limit on the completion of this special research, it is a good idea to do it when you can so that you are not left behind. Plus, successfully defeating Giovanni will give you the chance to catch the latest shadow legendary Pokemon – Shadow Regirock.

Make sure that you take that pesty Team Rocket down! If you hunt for members of the no-good team, you might even find some Solstice Horizons event spawns along the way! Don’t forget that the event has day and night spawns and so you need to play during both periods if you want to catch them all!
