The title is inspired by traditional Japanese arts and crafts and features a world made of paper that looks a little like a pop-up book. The gameplay involves finding secrets and solving various puzzles by manipulating the papery world within.

Tengami is coming to iPad, iPhone, PC and Mac in the first quarter of 2013 and is made by British indie dev Nyamyam. Phil Tossell and Jennifer Schneidereit, who had both worked at Rare, formed Nyamyam in 2010. They previously worked together on Kinect Sports while Tossell has Starfox Adventures, Diddy Kong Racing, and Kameo on his CV. Tossell also served as director of gameplay over at Rare in 2009 before he began work on Kinect Sports.
