Will the Wii U Price and Release Date Be Revealed Next Month?

We'll be there, live from New York City.

As excited as we are over the launch of the upcoming Wii U console from Nintendo, there are a few pieces of vital information that are sorely missing.  The system doesn’t have any sort of price attached just yet, nor do we even have a release date.  But that could very well change as soon as next month.

Nintendo has announced that they will be holding a press event in New York next month, and this is likely going to be the place where these details come to light, and the company could very well break down how the launch line-up is going to look — including their own first-party titles.

The event takes place on September 13th at 10 AM EST, and will be hosted by Nintendo of America president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime.  It’ll be six hours long, so attendees can probably expect to go hands-on with a variety of games as well.

We’ll be there live and we can’t wait!
