The Legend of Zelda: Tears of The Kingdom is a game all about immersing yourself in the world and exploring every nook and cranny. I often get lost in the world, finding myself scavenging for resources and barely scraping by. You can further immerse yourself in the world by turning off your HUD and allowing yourself to live life on the edge. Here’s how to turn off your HUD in Tears of The Kingdom.
How to Turn Off Your HUD in TOTK
To turn off your HUD in Tears of The Kingdom, all you need to do is click the + button and tab over to the Settings menu with the R button. From here, scroll down to the “Options” menu.
Press A and scroll down until you see the “HUD Mode” option. You will have two different settings—Pro or Normal.
Select Pro, which will remove everything from your screen. You won’t have your hearts, map, or abilities on the screen.
I find this great for snapping screenshots of the beautiful environments and locales around Hyrule.

You can switch back to normal HUD settings the same way you switched them to Pro. This can be done at any time you can open up the main menu. So feel free to swap back and forth to your heart’s content.
