You won’t find a more confusing game title on the market than Lords of the Fallen. No, I’m not talking about 2014’s Lords of the Fallen, but its sequel nine years in the making also called Lords of the Fallen (previously known as The Lords of the Fallen up until very recently). Based on its name decision, the newest title from Hexworks is basically the “Who’s on first?” of Soulslike games.
However, despite the confusion surrounding its title, Lords of the Fallen (2023) seems to be a game with a lot of potential, and even presented an epic announcement trailer back at Gamescom 2022 with an exciting cinematic, set to “Mother” by Danzig. Here is everything we currently know about Lords of the Fallen, including its release date, platforms, and story premise.
Lords of the Fallen Release Date
Lords of the Fallen will release on October 13, 2023. The spooky month of October seems to be a perfect fit for the game’s eerie, dark fantasy atmosphere, as well as a world teeming with monsters straight out of nightmares.
