Rumor: Rocksteady’s Next Batman Title is Next-gen, Features Justice League

What you might be pleased about though, is that it’s a sequel set to include the Justice League.

The game will be a prequel to Rocksteady’s Batman titles, and documents Batman’s first meeting with the Joker. It’s set in DC’s Silver Age of comics, and we’ll see Batman form the Justice League of America with Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and the Flash, says a report from Variety.

The game is apparently only likely to see the light of day in 2014 “at the earliest”, which implies it’s being made for next-gen hardware.

Warner Bros. is apparently keen to expand on its DC character offerings with a series of products of various types in the future, this would certainly help.
