The company has announced today that it will be releasing Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this winter.  The compilation will include two of the series’ most popular entries, the original Budokai and Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3, remastered for the first time in stunning high resolution.

The games will retain all the great fighting action from the original releases, along with various bonuses, including full Trophy and Achievement support, as well as possible online play (we’re still awaiting confirmation).  And of course, a number of DBZ characters will be returning, including Goku, Vegeta and several others.

We’ll have more details on Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection in an upcoming preview.
