We’re getting old here at the Prima Games offices. We were just remembering the “good ol’ days” of gaming, back when all you needed for entertainment was a solo joystick and a button. That’s how the old Atari 2600 rolled, and how millions of gamers rolled with it before the Video Game Crash of 1983.
But Atari thrived and lived on, and today, the company is celebrating its 40th anniversary in the business, an unprecedented stat considering all that it’s gone through. To celebrate, the company has posted a huge timeline, breaking down its biggest accomplishments, which you can view here.
