How to Deface Ramon’s Portrait in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Gonna take a lot more than an egg on a painting to call us even.

Resident Evil 4 Remake’s requests can be rather odd at times, asking you to complete some strange tasks like finding a Golden Chicken Egg and selling it to the Merchant. You cannot make things like this up. They only get stranger as the game goes on, and that is not even including the random blue medallions you can find scattered around. One particular request gives people a ton of headaches, though we are here to help. Here is how to deface Ramon’s portrait in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

The request offers you a small photo of Ramon’s throne, asking you to deface his portrait in one way or another. Given the small clue and how you have never physically been to the room, you might be quite confused on how to reach it. Alas, the answer is somewhat simple once you know what you are doing. To find the location in the photograph, you will want to head past the Ballroom toward the Antechamber, then into the Throne Room.

Once you are there, head to the throne and check either side. You should spot Ramon’s portrait, but you cannot deface it by simply shooting at it. Instead, you will need to pick up an egg of any kind (there is a reason the chickens are in the room), equip it, and throw it at the painting. Once you have done that, head back to the nearest Merchant where you can find your Spinels waiting for you.
