How to Get the Red9 Stock in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Always keep stock of your trusty stock.

You would be surprised by just how much the attachments in Resident Evil 4 Remake can change the way a gun functions. Take the scopes for the rifles for example, which will not give too many gameplay benefits but feel infinitely better than using iron sights. The zoom addition is a nice bonus, while we are at it. One particular attachment is a necessary addition for what is arguably the game’s best handgun. Here is how to get the Red9 Stock in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Where to Find the Red9 Stock in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Compared to a ton of the items you can get in Resident Evil 4 Remake, getting the Red9 Stock is easy to claim under one condition: you have been doing your requests. To get the stock, you will need to put nine hard-earned Spinels into the Merchant’s Trade menu. It will begin appearing around Chapter 7 and is arguably one of the best attachments you can get in the game.

What makes the Red9 Stock so worthwhile is how it completely transforms the function of the Red9. Without the stock attached, the handgun could easily be seen as one of the worst in the game with its low precision and rather terrible fire rate (with accuracy included, at least). With the stock equipped, the weapon quickly becomes a powerhouse that only gets better with its many purchasable upgrades. It could be some of the best Spinels you can spend, alongside a few other attachments and herbs.

As a bonus, the Red9 Stock will not take up too many slots in your inventory. You could easily fit both it and the Red9 in a small corner at the top of your attaché case without losing too much space for other items. When you have space efficiency, power, and great accuracy to boost, what more could you want? At least, that is if you don’t include the other weapons in the game which you can find out more about in our guide.
