What Engine is the Resident Evil 4 Remake Running On – Answered

All Castle Gate Blue Medallion Locations in Resident Evil 4 Remake

You can fit so many blue medallions in this bad boy.

Most games tend to have some sort of collectible located off the beaten path, and Resident Evil 4 Remake is no different. Across the entire game, there will be several requests from the Merchant that ask you to find a handful of blue medallions scattered around the map. When you reach the Castle Gate, that certainly does not change. Here are all the Castle Gate blue medallion locations in Resident Evil 4 Remake.

Before you go jumping in, it is suggested that you take down the catapults before searching for the blue medallions. As you will see in our screenshots, we were crazy enough to try it during the game which had interesting consequences. With that note out of the way, the first blue medallion can be found in a small window inside a small ruin (the picture does not show it, but it does show its location).

The second medallion is located within a small window under an overhang around halfway through the Castle Gate section (Ashley being bombed by a catapult may or may not be included).

The third medallion can be found when dropping down to lift the cannon. It is a hard one to miss, being attached to the ceiling.

The fourth medallion is hidden away behind a mini tower, across from a green roof as shown below. If you are having trouble, it is located next to where one of the enemy catapults is/used to be.

The fifth medallion is one of the two that is very hard to spot. It can be found incredibly high up, dangling from a wooden platform against part of the castle’s higher walls. It is a small blue speck but should be easy enough to shoot.

The final medallion is the other one that is difficult to spot, located completely off the edge and in a tree. It might be hard to spot in our image, but it is slightly to the left of the stone tower.

Once you have shot all six blue medallions, you can speak to the nearest Merchant and pick yourself up some Spinels. You will also have another blue medallion request out of the way, but more are ahead. Another example can be found in our Quarry/Fish Farm blue medallion guide.
