Though it looks like the life cycle of Nintendo’s original Wii system is slowing quite a bit, the company is still looking to support the platform with at least one more game. In this case, it’s the previously announced 20th Anniversary Kirby Collection, which is slated to come out sometime this year in the US. Though a date still hasn’t been nailed down, we at least have an idea what games are coming out for the collection, as the Japanese version has been dated for July 19th.
The collection, which includes a soundtrack CD along with the games, will include the following…
Kirby’s Adventure
Kirby Super Star
Kirby’s Dream Land
Kirby’s Dream Land 2
Kirby’s Dream Land 3
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards
A decent collection…but where’s Kirby’s Avalanche? If your favorite didn’t make the cut, don’t fret, as the U.S. version could include more games from the SNES era, and maybe even a surprise or two.
Unfortunately, the game wasn’t on the show floor this year at E3 as Nintendo opted to focus on its 3DS and Wii U systems instead. It would’ve been nice to have a glimpse at it, but we’ll get our chance soon enough.
Look for more information on Kirby soon!
