Even with the push for more mature titles on the Wii U, Nintendo is still going to be polishing their family friendly image. That means Nintendo is be moderating its new Miiverse social network for Wii U, with employees checking every comment. “The attraction of a social network is the immediacy of the feedback,” said Iwata when asked about the lag time between comment creation and comment posting. “But personally, I think 30 minutes should be acceptable.”

Miiverse users will also be able to flag posts as inappropriate.
