One skilled player recently pitched a perfect game in 2K Games’ Major League Baseball 2K12 (among other competitors, actually) and came away a million dollars richer.
21-year old Christopher Gilmore of Melbourne, Florida will be featured in an upcoming Spike TV 30-minute special on May 24 at 11:30 PM EDT, and will be given the one million prize at the event being held at the MLB Fan Cave in New York City.
“Winning this year’s Perfect Game Challenge is an amazing achievement that required great skill and composure in an intense tournament atmosphere,” said Jason Argent, vice president of marketing for 2K Sports. “Chris is incredibly deserving of the $1 million prize; he certainly earned it by beating some really stiff competition.”
Congrats to Christopher, as well as all the gamers who made it into the final eight for the competition. Major League Baseball 2K12 is available now for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
