Uncharted 4 – Chapter 1: The Lure of Adventure

In this article we’ll walk you through how to complete Chapter 1: The Lure of Adventure in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. This includes how to properly get past Sister Catherine without being caught. You’ll need to sneak past her and Father Duffy if you want to continue.

Climb out of the window and head continue straight ahead, then to the right. There’s a slant in the roof that can’t be scaled, so climb up the metal box and wall nearby to get up there. Jump over the wall and head to the far side, which is where you originally started, then continue toward the open windows on the right. Go through the window and look around the roof, the head out to the left.

Follow the instructions as you take cover near the doorway. Wait until Sister Catherine and Father Duffy turn away from you, then move over and use the desk as cover. After the conversation comes to an end, follow Sister Catherine into the next room and take cover behind the shelves by the door. Now wait for Sister Catherine to move over to the window for a smoke, then move counter-clockwise around the room from cover location to cover location as she turns her head. Timing is key here so pay close attention to where she’s looking.

Once you get to the couch she will leave the room and you can head out the window directly ahead. Leave the building and move along the wall and to the left when you hit the corner. Run and jump to the square rooftop, climb up the wall, then head right. There’s a pipe you can climb up here that leads to the next rooftop. Pick up the flashlight and backpack from Sam, watch a short cut scene, then follow the tutorial section of how to move your character.

Follow Sam as he moves along the rooftops. When you get outside of the walls it’s time to watch another cut scene that completes this chapter. At this point you can continue on to Chapter 2: Infernal Place or head back to our Uncharted 4 walkthrough and guide.
