Pre-Order Lucario and Wave 3 amiibo in Toys R Us Stores

Did you pre-order the Rosalina amiibo from Target’s online website this morning? If not, it’s OK. We also missed the opportunity to reserve the Super Mario Galaxy alum.

We did, however, find a Luigi amiibo in Toys R Us. Even better, the store had physical pre-order cards for the TRU exclusive Lucario amiibo and all of Wave 3. 

For the record, Wave 3 consists of Bowser, Toon Link, Sheik, King Dedede, Ike, Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog. The cards say these figures come out February 1, 2015, but considering Wave 2 was split into two shipments (we keep refreshing r/amiibo – yes, we lurk – for new information), it wouldn’t surprise us to see Wave 3 succumb to a similar fate.

We can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to pre-order Lucario and Wave 3 in a Toys R Us store (a second TRU we visited had no cards), but this is your best chance right now, since reserves are virtually non-existant online. Just head to the video game section and look for the pre-order cards near the register, and make sure to ask if there are none on the counter.
