Chapter 1 – Saiyan Arc
Episode: The Saiyans Attack

- Defeat Nappa (canon).
- Defeat Nappa within a given time: Unlocks the “Vegeta vs. Piccolo” episode.
Chapter 2 – Planet Namek Arc
Episode: Piccolo Returns to His Birthplace
- Battle Conditions:
- Struggle against Frieza (canon).
- Defeat Frieza within a given time: Unlocks the “A Mentor’s Guidance” arc.

Chapter 3 – Android/Cell Arc
Episode: Faint Unease
- Battle Conditions:
- Continue to observe the battle (canon).

Piccolo’s saga features a total of one alternate arc and two alternate episodes. With Piccolo maintaining a supporting role throughout the series, he gets a little more of the limelight this time around, and it’s well-deserved.
