Where to Find the Radburn in Starfield

If you’re following the UC Vanguard questline, you’re already on track to acquire the Radburn in Starfield. It’s in the first mission area for the “Grunt Work” quest on planet Tau Cetti II in the Tau System.

Considering the big surprise halfway through, you’ll likely want to deal with the quest itself before searching for the unique pistol. Once all of the excitement dies down, however, head to the rear side of the facility and look for the illuminated storage area with a bunch of Tau crates stacked on top of each other. You want the rear-most stack, with the angled blue container, to locate the Radburn. It’s inside, sitting on a box inside a case.

Like most other unique pistols in the game, ilikes of Keelhauler, Radburn benefits when you put a few skill points into both Pistol Certification and Ballistics. Both will increase the physical damage of handguns using 7.77mm ammunition, like Radburn.

On top of the nice damage boost, consider the Radburn’s other stats:

  • Type: Ranged
  • Class: Ballistic
  • Damage Type: Physical + Energy
  • Damage: 15 + 1
  • Ammo: 7.77mm Caseless
  • Mag Size: 12
  • Fire Rate: 114
  • Range: 20
  • Accuracy: 67.9%
  • Mass: 0.65
  • Value: 3786
  • Mod Slot 1: Binary Trigger
  • Mod Slot 2: Compensator
  • Mod Slot 3: Hair Trigger
  • Mod Slot 4: Whitehot Rounds

As far as unique weapons go, the Radburn is a fine early-game weapon, especially if you manage to grab it during the first quest in the UC Vanguard faction questline. That said, you’ll likely replace it rather quickly with something with a bit more oomph!
