Warframe Opticor Vandal Guide

The Opticor Vandal works with a lower damage stat than the Opticor rifle, but it improves on the following attributes:

  • Charge rate
  • Critical chance
  • Critical multiplier
  • Magazine size
  • Reload speed
  • Status Chance

The Warframe Opticor Vandal is effective against armor because of the Puncture damage that it does, and it’s possible to actually bump yourself up to 100% status infliction chance if you’re using the right mods to upgrade your weapon. It will also stagger opponents, which makes it a prime choice for clearing a room when coupled with the fact that it creates little explosions when its rounds impact enemies.

If you’re curious about how to get the Opticor Vandal, it’s actually pretty straightforward. Anyone who finishes Operation: Buried Debts will get the weapon. This particular repeating quest is part of the Thermia Fractures event, and you’re going to have to earn 100 points in this to actually pick up the Opticor Vandal and take it home with you. Even though the weapon tooltip will inform you that yo u’re going to need a Mastery Rank of 14 for it, your actual rank being below that when you finish the relevant event requirements won’t be a problem; you will still receive it.

Now that you know how to get your hands on the Warframe Opticor Vandal variant of the rifle, it should be pretty easy so long as you’re grinding out the repeatable event to get the points that you need.
