As Fortnite players work their way through the Ariana Grande punchcard, they’ll eventually come across a Quest that tasks them with studying the Caretaker’s footprints.
What’s nice about this Quest is that when you interact with it, Caretaker footprint locations will appear on your map, with one set being conveniently located at Believer Beach. Need additional help?

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 | Where to Study Caretaker’s Footprints
The quick answer to the question of where to study the Caretaker’s footprints in Fortnite is at Believer Beach, along with other named locations like Boney Burbs. When the Quest is available to you, select it in your Quest menu and Caretaker footprint locations should pop up on your map, guiding you to them.
You’ll find them at most named locations, with one set being located at Believer Beach right near where you collected a record and placed it in a turntable. After you exit the building, head straight towards the set of RVs and along the road, you should come across large indented footprints (as seen in the image above).
Approach them and you’ll get a prompt to study them.
Once you study the first set, you’ll need to study another set of Caretaker footprints in order for the Quest to be marked as complete. You can do this wherever you prefer, though for this we decided to head to Boney Burbs.
There, we similarly found a large set of Caretaker footprints indented into the dirt road that runs through the center of Boney Burbs that’s near the ruined gas station and crop of corn.
By approaching these Caretaker footprints and studying them, the Quest should be marked as complete, allowing you to move on to the next Quest where you need to collect symbols from eliminated Cube Monsters in Fortnite.
