In an exclusive reveal with The Hollywood Reporter, Ubisoft is looking to expand their TV horizons. With the fourth season of Rabbids Invasion on Netflix, it looks like the party is just getting started with more TV adaptations taking on the Rayman franchise, Hungry Shark Squad, Watch Dogs, and a young adult series called Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Vibe, which will be based off of the Far Cry 3 expansion ‘Blood Dragon.’

“Every show has a different target that it’s aiming at and a different format,” Ubisoft Film & Television managing director Helene Juguet told The Hollywood Reporter. Juguet also mentioned that the Watch Dogs action-adventure series will take on a much more “tween” focused vibe, calling it a “cybermystery” taking a much less mature-rating route.

Ubisoft also confirmed that they are currently working on an animated sketch comedy specifically centered around gaming culture and how it’s evolved, “Adi is such a great fan of video games. We share the same culture and references,” Juguet told the site. “It’s been great to give him the freedom to do something very fresh and bold with our characters.”

The managing director also mentioned a little tid-bit about their in-house animation studio and their “incubator” team: “One of the incubator’s key projects is to translate the essence of video games,” Juguet says. “Our goal is to translate that into an innovative visual and engaging storytelling in animation.”
