During the most recent Inside Xbox, the team over at Paradox Interactive shared a horrifyingly amazing new look at Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2. It nailed the creepy and showed off the different sects that players can join to clan it up and take over Seattle in the most deadly way possible! Even better, this gameplay was optimized for the Xbox Series X, making the next generation of gaming even sweeter.
Even better, the team over at Microsoft confirmed that Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will be Smart Delivery-approved, which means that players that buy it on the Xbox One system will be able to get the game for the Series X for no additional cost. This decision makes it easier to dive right into the action without feeling like you have to hold out for the next generation!
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, for those that may be unfamiliar, is a morbid RPG inspired by not only the previous games that came before it, but also the world-renowned tabletop RPG experience that has been a cult favorite for decades. In Bloodlines 2, players will see themselves in a darker form of Seattle where you will play as the monster that must master the patterns of the underbelly to conquer instead of being conquered. Choose clans to be loyal to, make enemies to crush, and basically be as wild and crazy as you want because there will be blood.
Players will be tasked with uncovering the seedy crime-ridden underbelly secrets that hide deep within Seattle’s depths and it’s there that you will discover what kind of vampire you were meant to be. It’s going to be dark, it’s going to be dangerous, and it’s going to be oh so glorious!
We still don’t have a release date at this time, though we’re hoping for one soon because we can’t wait to get our hands on Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines 2! The brightside is that we know it will be playable on both generations of gaming, which is sure to excite many that can’t wait to explore their dark side!
