New Assassin’s Creed Game to Debut May 12 at 9AM PT

Players may finally see the rumored Assassin’s Creed Victory in action.

With the 2015 Electronic Entertainment Expo a little over a month away, we expect several publishers to announce games earlier than expected.  Activision kicked things off this morning by revealing Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, and now Ubisoft grabbed headlines with a new Assassin’s Creed title debuting May 12.

Whether or not it’s the rumored Assassin’s Creed Victory remains to be seen, but if you turn up the volume and listen to the game’s announcement site, you’ll hear a clock ringing in the distance, unintelligible chatter and the sound of a locomotive. Meanwhile, there appears to be a table with some carvings (the word ROOKS among them), along with a pair of brass knuckles featuring “Strength Through Loyalty” on the handle. Considering Victory may take place in Victorian era London, the steam locomotive certainly points to the time period. Keep in mind, of course, this is mostly speculation and Ubisoft will fill in some of the blanks next Tuesday at 9AM PT.

Based on the above image, those brass knuckles may play a big role in your character’s arsenal. We’re also intrigued by the mini cannon on this person’s arm. As for the mysterious cane with the gold bird, we’re stumped.
