There’s a fair amount of XP to be earned here though, which is good news for those who’ve yet to complete Season 8’s Battle Pass. Wondering what to expect from “The End” of Chapter 2 in Fortnite? Here’s what we know so far!

Fortnite Chapter 2 Coming To An End On December 4

Fortnite Chapter 2 is ending on December 4, 2021 with a climactic one-time only in-game event called “The End” where players can battle it out with The Cube Queen. “The End” is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m. (EST) on December 4 with large parties of up to 16 players supported.

To ensure you’re able to partake in the event, the Fortnite blog post announcing “The End” event recommends players log in early as the event will be available 30 minutes prior to the official start time of 4:00 p.m. (EST).

Still need to earn XP for your Season 8 Battle Pass? There’s a bit of good news in the blog post as it’s noted that because Season 8 is ending a day early, all players who log in before the Season’s end will receive 225,000 XP as a reward.

“The End” is a one-time only, in-game event. Content creators and players looking to relive the final moments of Fortnite Chapter 2 should take steps to record and archive their experience as replays will not be available.

Players will be unable to edit their settings once “The End” begins, so please adjust any visual options to your preferred viewing experience before joining. Because the Season will end a day early, all players who log in before the end of the Season will receive a 225,000 XP reward.

To immortalize “The End,” players who fight back The Cube Queen by attending “The End” will unlock a special Loading Screen and Wrap!

Other things you can do prior to the end of Season 8 and Chapter 2 on December 4 include completing any remaining Cube Queen Quests you may have, collecting all Color Bottles for your Toona Fish if you haven’t done so already, and exchanging any remaining Battle Stars for rewards.

Don’t worry, some Quests will carry over to the next Season and Chapter 3 including the Graveyard Drift Quest Pack. And to help you earn XP even faster, there will be a Power Leveling Weekend taking place on November 26 through November 29.

To end Chapter 2 in style, we’ll be holding a Power Leveling Weekend starting from November 26 at 7 PM ET – November 29 at 7 AM ET to round out your Season 8 progress! Log in to get a pool of Supercharged XP and finish off your Battle Pass. All players who log in starting today will also get a 225,000 XP reward!
