EA Announces EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil

In standard tradition, soccer fans will be getting a new title for the World Cup!

Electronic Arts today announced a new title in the FIFA series. EA SPORTS 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 is the only officially licensed video game for the big event. With a scheduled release date of April 15 in the North American region, World Cup Brazil will extend and enhance features from EA’s existing FIFA games.

Using Explosive Movement, players will now be able to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly whether they’re on or off the ball. In addition, 100 new animations have been added to the game to go along with the 203 national teams, 7,469 players, 19 officially licensed managers, 21 new stadiums, and all 12 authentic stadiums from Brazil.
