This article covers Chapter 11: Hidden in Plain Sight in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. One of the main points of focus in this chapter is solving the clock tower and founders puzzles, but as the chapter begins you must first move through the crowd with Sully. Make your way to the right and speak with a vendor who sells you some treasure. Continue through the marketplace to reach a nearby tower, then climb through the window on the right side of the structure.
Once inside the tower you’ll find Edward England’s sigil in the main room. Collect the item and explore the rest of the tower to find treasure in a small room near the location of the sigil. Head upstairs where you’ll encounter the clock tower puzzle. Take a look at your notebook to find that the Zodiac symbols are in a very specific order. You need to ring the bells in the same order, which means you need to ring Scorpio, Aquarius, Leo, then Taurus.
Ring the bells in the correct order and Avery’s sigil appears on the floor. Head up to the top level of the clock tower and ring one last bell to finish the puzzle, then climb onto the gears to the left of the open window. Move the minute hand of the clock to two o’clock, then head out the window and onto the hands of the clock. Quickly jump to the far side before the hands of the clock move too much, then move up to the wheel that controls the final bell.
Just past the controls there a piece of treasure on the balcony above. Collect the loot, then ring the bell for a bit of fun that follows. Explore a bit with Sully until you come across the founders puzzle. Throughout this puzzle you need to rotate the sigils in a specific manner to complete each segment and move on to the next portion of the puzzle. Examine the paintings in the adjacent rooms and press L2 to line up your square with the one on the painting. Once that’s done press Triangle to get a sketch of the sigil.
Repeat the process with each painting, then look at your notebook and rotate the sigils to line up with the stars. Complete this process in your notebook, then do the same in the main room to move on to the next portion of the puzzle. You need to repeat this method with each section of the puzzle until you have completed every section and eventually the full puzzle.
After completing the puzzle it’s time for a gun fight with some hostiles, followed by a car chase. Have fun with the chase scene, then use your gun to take down the drivers when you get dragged behind the vehicles. With the drivers down the chapter comes to an end.
