Uncharted 4 – Chapter 10: The Twelve Towers

Find the sigils near the towers so you have the clues needed for an upcoming puzzle.

In this article we cover Chapter 10: The Twelve Towers in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. One of the biggest challenges of this chapter is finding all of the sigils Nathan and crew are searching for. We’ll cover how to do that and more, but first you need to drive around at the beginning of the chapter to get a feel for how the 4×4 controls. When you see a tower in the distance, head over to the base of the structure and look around with Sam.

There are multiple towers in the area. Each time you spot one, drive over and search the surrounding area for a sigil. There’s a puzzle coming up in a later chapter and these sigils offer clues on how to solve it, so it’s important to find as many as you can. Once you’ve located a sigil and you’re ready to move on, use the winch on the front of the vehicle to latch onto a tree up the hill so you can drive on the steep incline.

When you reach the next area, there’s treasure to the left, but you’ll find more treasure and a path to the next tower when you head right. Leave your 4×4 behind and move to the right of the next tower. Use your stealth skills to take down the nearby hostile, then move toward the central tower to kill the next guard. Head up the tower to take out the enemy at the top, take his weapon and take down a few more hostiles in the area below before moving down to the ruins to the left of the tower (near the parked 4×4).

You can use the detonator to blow the door where you’ll find a sigil of Adam Baldridge within. Get in the 4×4 and move across the bridge on the far side of the tower. Unfortunately it collapses, so you need to use the winch to pull down the bridge so you can drive up the other side. Continue toward the mountain where you’ll find more ruins and a few more hostiles. There isn’t a sigil here, but you can clear the enemies with ease by moving in a clockwise circle around the area.

Blow open the door with a detonator to find more treasure, then speak with Sully and take the 4×4 to the next tower. The grappling hook will get you to the far side of the tower and onward to the adjacent cliff edge. Here you will find the Anne Bonny sigil and discuss the matter with Sam before climbing the tower and using the zip line move the crate to the ruins.

Push the crate into position and climb up to the crank so you can lower the drawbridge. Of course you now have to battle against a few more hostiles and continue up the hill across another bridge and to the final tower location. Head up the stairs and to the left, but ignore the door so you pick up the treasure to the side first. Go back and break down the door, then head downstairs and throw the barrel at the door. Shoot the barrel to clear a path, then follow Sam until you get another cut scene.

The chapter concludes with another battle against hostile forces (use stun grenades to make this a bit easier), then pick up the map from Sam to complete The Twelve Towers. From here you can move on to Plain Sight or head back to our Uncharted 4 walkthrough and guide.
