When it was initially announced last year, PopCap Games’ Plants vs. Zombies 2 threw people into the good kind of frenzy with the promise of new zombies and challenges for them to tackle. The question was when the game would release, but today we got a better idea of that.
PopCap has released a new teaser trailer and announced game’s official title: Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time! The trailer has a bunch of people, including YouTube’s infamous ranter Francis, demanding that the game get released. They’ll soon get their wish, as the sequel currently has a release scheduled for July 2013. No gameplay footage has been revealed yet and no word on what platforms will be seeing it first but we should know more very soon, possibly at E3 next month.
