The Witch Queen Launch Trailer Has Savathun Take Center Stage

The trailer lets Savathun take the center stage and shows just how far the cinematics team at Bungie has come from its original launch.

It’s up to us to take the light back from Savathun, which means going to her throne world and taking it by force. The trailer itself shows off some new locations aboard the THrone World as well as some horror elements of Guardians in pitch black with only the light from their muzzle fire to light the way.

Savathun is clearly the biggest threat in Destiny 2 thus far, and the launch trailer gives her a presence unseen by previous Destiny villains. The road to The Witch Queen has been long, after a delay out of fall into 2022 players have been chomping at the bit to get in there and take her on.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the launch trailer as the days to the Witch Queen expansion draw ever closer.
