Another day, and another six Bounties to complete from Xander 99-40, the Bounty Tracker who hangs out at the Tower in Destiny.
Over time we will show you how to complete every single Bounty that Xander has to offer, but we figured we’d take a more in-depth approach, showing you how you can complete each one with relative ease.
- One for All – Achieve Gold Tier Rating in Public Events
- Walking Tall – Complete Any Strike Without Dying
- It’s All in the Head – Kill 100 Enemies with Precision Damage
- Fallen Leaders – Kill 10 Fallen Majors or Ultras
- Overcharge – Kill 2 Enemies at Once with a Fusion Rifle, 20 Times
- Blades of Crota – Hunt the Knights Who Serve as Blades of Crota
Body Dropper Vanguard Bounty
This will require players to kill 100 enemies without dying, a task that should be very simple for anyone who surpassed the rank of 20 in-game. It gets tougher if you’re a lower level simply because you aren’t able to absorb the same amount of damage. Still, it’s just a matter of playing smart in order to get this quickly out of the way.
Although you’ll fall just shy of 100 kills, our advice would be to hit up a story mission called The Dark Beyond that takes place on the Moon. This is made famous by your Ghost, Peter Dinklage, infamously hollering, We’ve woken the Hive. It’s at that point that dozens of enemies will spill out and attack you, making it quite easy to pick up most of your kills. You can even set the difficulty extremely low since there are no Bounty requirements for the enemies to be a certain level.
When the mission is complete, take note of how many kills you need, then perhaps see if any of your remaining Bounties require you to do Patrol missions on one of the four planets. That would be an ideal way for you to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.
Alternate Body Dropper Method
This one is so simple it’s almost not worth mentioning, but it’s one of our favorite ways to finish this Bounty with absolutely zero stress. The trick is to not worry about it or care. Just have it active and then go about doing activities like the Daily Heroic Mission or one of the Strike playlists. There’s always a chance that you’ll die, but eventually you’ll forget about the Bounty until it pops up and tells you that it’s complete. However, if you just want to get it done in a hurry to rank up your Vanguard reputation, go with the method above, or another mission that you prefer.
- Vanguard Reputation +50
- Experience +2,500
The rewards aren’t fantastic, but anyone under level 20 will appreciate the XP. If you’re above level 20, make sure you have weapons equipped that you need to rank up before you turn this in to Xander. This will help you level them up and earn more unlocks at the same time. It will even apply to armor, but you may need various materials before you can complete that part of the process.
