Throughout Diablo 4’s development phases, we could participate in several closed and open beta periods to experience the game’s first act. These betas allow us to learn about the game’s classes, quests and world, all while earning exclusive rewards for reaching milestones! Even though I’m describing all this fun and excitement, though, why would I talk about it if the beta periods have already passed? Well, because another one is already on its way! When is the New Diablo 4 Beta Releasing?
According to a recent Diablo 4 developer update stream, a new beta period, specially named the Server Slam event, will be released from May 12 at 12 PM PDT until May 14 at the same time. Anyone on PC, Xbox or PlayStation consoles will have access to the beta, including anyone who wants to participate in couch co-op! This gives everyone an extra three days to play the game again, allowing you to reach level 20 and attempt the infamous Ashava World Boss fight.

Speaking of Ashava, this beta weekend also introduces a new exclusive reward, the Cry of Ashava Mount Trophy. By defeating Ashava at least once with a level 20 character, you’ll be eligible for this item and receive it once the game officially launches in June. The boss spawns for the first time on May 13 at 9 AM PDT and reappears every three hours until May 14 at the same time.
If you’re eager to participate in this event, don’t worry! You’ll be able to download Diablo 4 early, starting May 10 at 12 PM PDT, so that you won’t have to spend any time on launch day installing the game.
Diablo 4 will be available on June 6, 2023, on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
