Resident Evil Village | How to Solve Opera Hall Piano Puzzle and Get the Iron Insignia

Solve the piano puzzle in the Opera Room and get the Iron Insignia Key.

After getting chased by Lady Dimitrescu and making your way to the Opera Hall, you’ll need to complete a puzzle on the piano in the room to progress in Resident Evil Village. Jill Valentine and Barry Burton aren’t around to lend a hand this time like they were at the Spencer Mansion but we’ve got you covered.

This puzzle can eventually be solved through messing with the keys and finding the right notes but maybe you’re more interested in blowing off zombie heads and running from Lady Dimitrescu than taking a music lesson break.

It’s a little easier if you can read music but even if you can, you still might be more interested in getting back to your scary, child rescue mission.

It’s a nice throwback to the first Resident Evil game but ultimately appears at a weird time so we understand wanting to quickly finish it to jump back into the spooky vampire action.

We have pictures below that can help guide you, along with the correct numbered keys to hit. It helps a lot that you don’t get penalized or have to start over if you accidentally hit a wrong note.

If you’re over or under the correct note then you can just adjust accordingly.

Before you know it, you’ll have the Iron Insignia and be one step closer to saving Rose.

The correct keys to play, counting from left to right, are: 15, 12, 14, 13,13, 16, 15, 16, 17, 17.

And don’t worry, you can play slowly and don’t have to worry about playing it at the right tempo or in the correct time signature either. This isn’t Rock Band and you won’t get booed by music-loving zombies outside the room.

You can throw up your hands and crowd surf afterwards, as long as the people in your home are cool with it. It wasn’t a popular question at my house, but your results may vary.

Once you’re done, the piano pops open revealing the Iron Insignia Key, and a pretty cool place to hide your car keys if you have a magic castle piano at home.
