What Makes Palworld Unique?

Featuring highly stylized graphics and a world full of adorable creatures called Pals, Palworld shares more in common with a very popular monster collector than one may originally think. As you build bases, capture new Pals, and create a large arsenal of weapons and armor you can wear while exploring the world around you, Palworld will be a hit with those who love games like ARK: Survival Evolved.

Its basic UI is very similar to ARK and features plenty of exploration aspects. Run, jump, climb, and glide throughout a massive world full of adorable creatures, or go for the shock value and whip out a gun to take them down. This will be a perfect game for those who love resource management, building massive bases, and creating unique bases that change and evolve around them. Those who want fast progress, don’t want to monitor every resource imaginable or just want a relaxed game may not love Palworld. Thankfully, you can change World Settings to make things a bit less hardcore, but this will be one for those willing to invest some time.

What Makes Enshrouded Unique?

Set in a world of high fantasy, you’ll need to, once again, do whatever is necessary to survive in this world. While the basic gameplay elements are the same as games like Palworld, Enshrouded shares more in common with hardcore world builders like Valheim, but with a bit of extra refinement to ensure that players always know what they should be doing and where they should be going.

Enshrouded will also be rather hardcore but feels a bit more forgiving once you get the hang of things. Its crafting feels a bit more refined overall, not requiring tools like a crafting bench to create objects, and the movement and combat feel weighty and satisfying. An overarching narrative also drives your created character through the world, which Palworld currently lacks. If you’re not a fan of the overall look of Palworld and want to dive into something a bit more weighted in reality, then Enshrouded will be the game for you.

No matter which option you pick, you’ll leave satisfied. Both games are in early access and could see many drastic changes to make them even more appealing.

To summarize, if you’re a fan of monster collecting or games like ARK, then Palworld will be the game for you. If you’re looking for something that hits that high-fantasy vibe and plays a lot like Valheim, then Enshrouded is the perfect game for you and your buddies.
