Players will have the ability to unlock the Lantern Artifact by completing the mission known as Matter of Time. You can obtain this Matter of Time mission from Ikora. It will ask Guardians to head to Mars and help out our old friend Osiris. You will then be asked to charge up the Tangled Shores Obelisk, eliminate some enemies, and complete a run of the new Sundial activity. Speak with the Warlock after completing these tasks, and he will reward you with the item.

Guardians will be able to upgrade this item an infinite amount of times, which helps in players raising their power level past the hard cap that is currently set in the fan-favorite looter-shooter title.
