The Hand of Fate mechanic in Killer Klowns From Outer Space allows you to contribute to your surviving teammates by playing a short minigame. If you succeed in the minigame, then you’ll have an opportunity to pull one of three cards. These cards—all completely randomized—give various items, such as weapons, first aid kits, and, primarily, food items that offer healing and buffs, like increased stamina regeneration.

It’s a fun way to root for your fellow survivors and give them that extra push they need to survive the Klownpocalypse!

To gift these items to your teammates, you must tackle the various minigames. I’ve stumbled upon two so far, including one where you must stop the target on a grid to pop a series of balloons. You must land it directly on the balloon to pop them, but the targets speed up as you progress.

The second minigame involves highlighting various boxes to match the provided sample as the indicator moves across each box. If you time it correctly, you’ll highlight the corresponding box. You must highlight each one—usually six—to win the game.

The better you do in the minigame, the better the potential card drop you earn. Once you have a card, you can either immediately gift it to a survivor by scrolling through the living teammates and hitting the prompt. Alternatively, you can store the card for later use.

Humans have plenty of tools to help them escape and survive the apocalypse, but Klowns feature a selection of beam weaponry that proves rather dangerous!
