Moss is one of the most interesting reagents to get in Hades 2, purely based on where you can find them in the first place. The sequel, out now on early access, has introduced new areas for the players to explore, and doing so will help you to find new resources as well. Here’s how to get Moss in Hades 2.

Where To Find Moss in Hades 2

To find Moss in Hades 2, you’ll need to travel to Ephyra, a region located on the surface. When you enter the city for the first time, you’ll find this reagent quite easily around you. However, you won’t have the incantation needed to survive, and hence, death is the only option.

If you are still in the early stages of Hades 2, it’s worth noting that not all the action takes place in the Underworld. You can also travel to the surface, but surviving there is even more challenging than in the Underworld. In fact, until you unlock the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation, you can’t last more than a minute on the surface.

A few trips to the surface and back to the Underworld should be enough for you to make the necessary amount to unlock the Unraveling a Fateful Bond incantation. To gather Moss, you won’t need any specialized tool. These reagents spawn at random on the surface, so you can obtain them by just getting close and picking them up.

Make sure to pick this reagent whenever you go to the surface, as it’s one of the most important resources when it comes to incantations. Several incantations have Moss as a necessary ingredient, along with other reagents.

Certain resources are easier to collect, but it can be tricky to use them efficiently. The Nectar is one such item, which is extremely important in Hades 2. You can use Nectar as a gift for various characters which helps you earn Keepsakes. If you’re confused about how to use Nectar efficiently, make sure to check out this guide.
