Where to Find Brightcore in LEGO Fortnite

You can find Brightcore by entering your LEGO Fortnite world’s Dry Valley desert biome and searching any nearby lava caves. It appears as a golden ore near lava. Although similar in appearance to copper ore, you can differentiate it by the rocks it spawns on. While Brightcore is a golden ore attached to dark rocks, copper is an orange ore attached to light grey and green stone.

Tip:

Bring a blue rare-grade pickaxe to the lava cave, as regular and uncommon-grade will do zero damage to the Brightcore rock.

Also, be careful when entering a lava cave. It has a burning temperature, which can quickly kill your character if you’re not careful. You can use the following items and foods to give yourself heat resistance:

  • Cool-headed Charm
  • Snowberry
  • Snowberry Shake

Since lava caves have burning temperatures, you’ll want to combine a charm with a bunch of snowberries or a few shakes to make sure you don’t burn to death while mining for Brightcore.

What Is Brightcore Used for in LEGO Fortnite?

Brightcore is a resource used to make various decorations and smelt copper in a metal smelter. You can use one raw copper and two Brightcore in the metal smelter to make a copper bar, which you can use to make a rare-grade shovel, epic-grade axe, or a rare-grade longsword, among other items.
