How to Get the Shiny Lucario in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To claim your Shiny Lucario completely for free, open the game’s menu, head to the Poke Portal, and connect to the internet. Once you do, select Mystery Gift, pick “Get with Code/Password” and enter the following code:

  • SH1NYBUDDY

Your new golden Lucario will be sent directly to your boxes (assuming you have some free space), and you can see that it was captured inside the usual Cherish Ball, like almost all Mystery Gift Pokemon you get. Lucario can be claimed until January 3rd, 2024.

Its stats are compelling, and Lucario is already at Level 75, ready for you to use in any content, such as the upcoming DLC itself. The announcement also featured a Darkrai code that works the same way. Darkrai is not shiny, unfortunately. But a Mythical Pokemon is Mythical, nonetheless, so don’t miss that one either.

The Indigo Disk DLC will be featuring the Blueberry Academy and follows up directly from the story set up by The Teal Mask in Part 1, as well as finally expanding the Terastalization lore from the base game with the introduction of Terapagos, which seems to be the very origin of the phenomenon.

Blueberry is located in Unova, and from the looks of the most recent trailer, players will have access not only to numerous Pokemon from the region but to many other new entries to Gen IX, such as the previous starters and many Legendaries from older generations, which could very possibly be something akin to the Dynamax Adventures from Gen VIII.

Indigo Disk will be available on December 14 and it’s already looking better than the first DLC part, so get ready for it!
