Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Interact With an IO Operative’s Computer

The first question Fortnite players will have in regards to the “Interact With an IO Operative’s Computer” task as part of the Week 8 Challenges is where to find an IO Operative.

When you select the Quest from your Quest menu, several locations will pop up as marked on the map. All of these locations, with the exception of Corny Complex, are Dish locations like Dampy Dish or Defiant Dish.

If you completed the Quest of collecting an Access Card from an IO Guard, you should be familiar with these locations and IO Guards. For this particular challenge, we returned to Defiant Dish which we visited in order to plant a wiretap as part of this week’s Legendary Quests.

At the main building on the bottom level, you’ll find a computer workstation just sitting there. It’ll be glowing blue, letting you know it’s a Quest item you can interact with.

When you approach it, you should see the “Hack Workstation” prompt. An example of this can be seen in the image below.

All you need to do is interact with the computer (E on PC).

After that, you should see the Quest marked as complete in your Quest list, and as a reward for completing this Quest, you’ll earn 30,000 XP in Fortnite.
