How Will EA FC 24 TOTS Live Cards Get Upgrades?

Any Live card in Ultimate Team represents an item that can get future improvements. While EA Sports has remained tight-lipped about future plans, reliable leaker FUT Scoreboard has shed some light on how the cards will get upgrades. Based on that information, each item will have two chances to get upgrades.

  • Upgrade 1 – Get 2 wins in the next 4 games.
  • Upgrade 2 – Score 8 goals in the next 4 games.

Once again, all upgrades will be based on league fixtures that will be held after the release of these cards. While EA Sports is yet to announce the release dates, the Live items are expected to be added to packs on April 19. This will also mark the beginning of the Team of the Season promo.

These upgrades are very similar to what was applicable for the Fantasy FUT Heroes. A card managing to get both upgrades could be much improved from their base version. The rumored conditions for the upgrades seem pretty doable as well. Despite lower starting overalls, the Live items could have plenty of interest among fans due to the potential future upgrades.

So far, three cards have been leaked by leakers FUT Scoreboard and ASY Trader.

  • Jeremy Doku
  • Ruben Loftus-Cheek
  • Raphinha

More names are expected to appear as Friday comes close. It will be interesting to see whether EA Sports releases Live cards as part of SBCs as well along with packs. An objective card could also be offered, which will allow players to get a special card for free. For now, fans can enjoy the best of TOTW items in packs, and it’s the perfect time to grind for more fodder.
