It’s always fun to know that, no matter where you play, you and your friend group can enjoy a game together, even if that means playing across systems. Crossplay is becoming more commonplace, and it’s almost a necessity in some titles. Well, does Pax Dei have crossplay?

Can You Play Pax Dei Crossplay?

While Pax Dei will only be released on PC, it will be available both on Steam and via the Pax Dei Launcher, with both having access to the same list of servers. As such, you can play crossplay between the two platforms. I imagine most people will purchase the game directly from Steam, however.

Should the MMORPG ever launch elsewhere, such as the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, or Xbox Series X|S, it will likely feature some sort of crossplay between digital storefronts on PC, but it’s highly unlikely between console and PC for an indie studio.

Of course, it’s certainly not a guarantee, as no console release is currently in the works. Should that change, we’ll let you know immediately!

How Much Does Pax Dei Cost?

Pax Dei launches into Steam Early Access on June 18. When it does, there will be three Founder’s Packs available to purchase, including:

  • Journeyman – $39.99
  • Artisan – $59.99
  • Master – $99.99

Each version includes a variety of in-game items and access to the game’s Early Access period, such as cosmetics and building sets.

However, the studio did state they intend to adopt a subscription-like model upon full release in 2025, though they didn’t precisely specify how their monetization would work. They did say it would likely vary depending on the number of building plots you have on your account.

Is Pax Dei on your radar? It looks like the perfect social MMORPG for those with a big friend group searching for a brand-new world to explore!
