Has Quick Turn Made in it Into Dead Space Remake?

First of all, a bit of background. In modern remakes such as the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes, there’s a feature called Quick Turn that makes combat a little bit easier. In essence, the feature allows you to press one button to immediately turn around, letting you focus on an enemy creeping up on you without doing a full 180-degree turn. It’s a minor thing, sure, but when you need it, it’s an invaluable tool.

It’s because of that that we’re saddened to report that you can’t Quick Turn in the remake. For some reason, whether it be keybindings or otherwise, it’s not an available option. With that being said, there is a silver lining in that another feature has made its way in. If you attempt to press your sprint key while moving backward, you can run backward. This doesn’t give the pleasure of checking your backside easily, but it does let you make some distance between you and the necromorph you’re currently fighting.
